Rotary Joints are used in wind turbines to deliver hydraulic fluid to the blade pitch actuators.
K series is a universal Rotating Union with rotary seals.
Girol Rotating Union - K Series
These mechanical devices are used to transfer fluid from a stationary source, such as a supply pipe, into a rotating piece of machinery. Available in single, dual, triple and four passage designs.
Girol manufactures a diverse range of rotating unions. High-performance designs, priced competitively without compromising quality. The K series is a universal rotating union with rotary seals, suitable for air use up to 12 Bars and fluid use up to 70 Bars. The union shaft is designed with a cylindrical BSP threading (right or left-handed available). The seal is made of teflon and viton. The fixed external part is made of anodized aluminum and the rotary part is made of nickel plated carbon steel. Able to withstand temperatures up to 110°C and speeds up to 520 rpm.
