ICP Wind manufactures reliable and cost-effective wind turbine brakes. Rotor brakes - often referred to as high-speed brakes - are designed to safely stop a wind turbine rotor in an emergency or parking operations.
HAB-2-75 is compact in design with a piston in each opposed caliper. Designed to stop, hold and control the turning of a rotor. Manufactured with a minimum air gap for shortened response times and fast braking. Oil pressure needs to be applied - in order to brake. All ICP brakes work tirelessly against testing conditions to sustain efficiency levels, ensure reliability and resolve any concerns or issues that may occur to reduce turbine downtime.
HAB-2-75 can be top-mounted and side-mounted dependent on your application.
